Overview

What Is MITAM Thread Lifting?

MITAM’s signature lifting treatment secures weakened facial contours according to the skin layers and fascia structure for a natural, longer-lasting result.

The Difference Is Fixation

Thread lifting results depend less on how many threads are used and more on where and how they are fixed.

Double Fascia Fixation

Based on the know-how behind Korea’s first presentation of Double Fascia Fixation Thread Lifting, we consider structural support points.

Course-Based Design

Threads and supporting treatments are combined according to concerns such as bulldog folds, jawline sagging, volume loss, and heaviness in the lower face.

Signature Method

The result of thread lifting is determined by the difference in fixation.

MITAM does not simply use more threads to pull the face. We design where to fix the threads for a natural, longer-lasting result by considering the direction of sagging, fat volume, skin thickness, and fascia structure.

Signature Courses

Signature Courses

Rather than relying on a single thread type, MITAM thread lifting uses course-based design to refine sagging, volume, and contours together. Click each icon card to view the details.

A Course Focused on Lower-Face Sagging and Bulldog Folds

The Bye-Bye Bulldog Course is designed for bulldog folds below the jawline, sagging around the mouth, and a heavy-looking lower face. By combining Wonder Lift, volume correction, Botox, and fat-management treatments, it refines both sagging and the lower facial line instead of simply pulling the face.

Key combination: Wonder Lift + volume correction + chin and mouth-corner Botox + fat-management treatments
  • Those with sagging bulldog folds and a blurred jawline
  • Those whose mouth area and lower face look heavy or droopy
  • Those who want to refine the jawline and mouth-corner line together
  • Those considering thread lifting for the first time

A Representative Course Using the KT Double Fascia Fixation Method

The Signature Fixation Lift combines Wonder Triple Lift with PCL threads and applies the KT Double Fascia Fixation method to secure sagging tissue more stably. The key is not simply pulling upward, but creating support points and designing the lifting direction according to the facial structure.

Key combination: Wonder Triple Lift + PCL + KT Double Fascia Fixation
  • Those who want stronger fixation than basic thread lifting
  • Those concerned about sagging in both the mid-face and lower face
  • Those who want to refine the jawline, mouth area, and cheek sagging comprehensively
  • Those who want a lifting result with better longevity

A Fixation-Type Lift for More Noticeable Sagging

The Premium Lift is a fixation-type thread lifting course centered on PCL threads. It is designed for an immediate lifting effect, strong fixation, and better longevity, making it suitable for those with noticeable sagging or those who want a firmer lifting design.

Key combination: Signature PCL + KT Double Fascia Fixation Lift + strong fixation + longer-lasting support
  • Those with noticeable sagging who want a stronger lift
  • Those concerned about both jawline and cheek sagging
  • Those who prioritize longevity in thread lifting
  • Those who were not fully satisfied with previous lifting treatments

A Comprehensive Lift That Considers Sagging, Volume, and Contours Together

The Master Full Course is a comprehensive lifting course that does not rely on thread lifting alone. It also considers volume correction, chin and mouth-corner Botox, and fat-management treatments. It is designed for faces where lifting sagging alone is not enough, especially when volume loss and lower-face heaviness are also present.

Key combination: PCL + volume correction + chin and mouth-corner Botox + fat-management treatments
  • Those who want thread lifting and volume correction together
  • Those concerned about sagging, volume loss, and the lower facial line
  • Those who want full-face lifting design
  • Those who want MITAM’s thread lifting in a comprehensive course
Thread Types

Differences by Thread Type

In thread lifting, the thread name matters less than the direction of sagging, skin thickness, fat volume, fascia structure, and where the threads need to be fixed.

MITAM’s Basic Thread Lift

Wonder Lift is a thread lifting treatment used to naturally lift sagging facial contours and refine the jawline, mouth area, and bulldog fold line. It is suitable for those who prefer a natural lift with less burden rather than a strong change, and it can be combined with other threads or volume correction in courses such as the Bye-Bye Bulldog Course or Signature Fixation Lift.

  • Those considering thread lifting for the first time
  • Those concerned about bulldog folds and jawline sagging
  • Those who prefer a natural lift over an overly pulled look

A Lift Focused on Fixation and Longevity

PCL Lift is a thread lifting treatment designed to support sagging tissue more stably and provide longer-lasting lifting. It may be considered when sagging is more noticeable or when stronger fixation is needed than basic thread lifting.

  • Those with noticeable sagging
  • Those who want stronger fixation than a basic lift
  • Those who want to refine sagging in the jawline, cheeks, and mouth area together

A Fixation Thread for Sagging Improvement

Mint Lift uses a barbed structure to hold sagging tissue and create a lifting direction. It can be used for areas where the facial line looks weakened, such as the jawline, cheek sagging, and mouth-area sagging, and may be combined with other threads depending on the skin condition and degree of sagging.

  • Those concerned about jawline and cheek sagging
  • Those who need stronger lifting fixation
  • Those who want to improve bulldog folds and mouth-area sagging together

Premium Fixation-Type Thread Lifting

Tess Lift is a thread lifting treatment designed to hold sagging tissue firmly and provide strong support. It may be considered for those with noticeable sagging or a heavy-looking lower face who need a stronger lifting design.

  • Those who clearly feel noticeable sagging
  • Those who want thread lifting with strong support
  • Those concerned about lower-face sagging and bulldog folds

A Thread Designed with Natural Movement in Mind

Elasty is a thread that can be used to create a softer lifting line while considering natural facial movement and expression. It is suitable for those who want to refine the facial line naturally rather than looking overly pulled.

  • Those who want a natural lift
  • Those worried about expressions looking unnaturally pulled
  • Those who want a softer facial line

A Light Thread Lift for Elasticity Improvement

Ultra V Lift uses relatively fine threads and is designed to improve skin elasticity, mild sagging, and skin texture. Rather than a strong fixation-type lift, it can be applied densely to areas with thin skin and reduced elasticity for a natural elasticity improvement.

  • Those who find strong thread lifting burdensome
  • Those concerned about mild sagging and skin elasticity
  • Those who want natural elasticity improvement

A Localized Lift to Refresh Heavy-Looking Eyes

Brow Lift is a localized thread lifting option for brows that have drooped downward or eyelids that look heavy. Because the eye and forehead areas have thin skin and frequent facial movement, natural directional control is more important than excessive pulling.

  • Those whose eyes look heavy due to sagging brows
  • Those whose eyelids look heavy
  • Those who want to refresh the eye area without surgery

How to Choose Thread Types

For mild sagging, lower-burden threads such as Wonder Lift or Ultra V Lift may be considered. For more noticeable sagging that requires stronger fixation, PCL, Mint Lift, Tess Lift, and similar options may be used. MITAM does not choose threads in isolation; we design combinations of threads and supporting treatments according to the facial structure and cause of sagging.

MITAM Point

MITAM Treatment Points

POINT 01Korea’s First Presentation of Double Fascia Fixation

We have studied not simply how to pull, but where to fix for a natural, longer-lasting lift.

POINT 02Fixation Matters More Than Pulling Force

In thread lifting, fixation position and direction matter more than the number of threads. We design support points according to the facial structure.

POINT 03Analysis of Sagging Direction

Bulldog folds, deep cheek sagging, jawline sagging, nasolabial folds, and mouth-area sagging are connected, so we design based on the overall facial flow.

POINT 04Thread Type and Course Combination

We choose suitable threads such as Wonder Lift, PCL, Mint Lift, and Tess Lift according to skin condition and degree of sagging.

POINT 05Lifting + Volume + Contour

Lifting sagging alone does not necessarily create a younger-looking face. We design volume correction, Botox, and fat management together when needed.

POINT 06Defined, Without Looking Overdone

Our goal is not an unnaturally pulled face, but a naturally refined jawline and a softer impression.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

No. More important than the number of threads is where, in which direction, and how stably they are fixed. MITAM designs the treatment based on facial structure and the direction of sagging.
Double Fascia Fixation does not simply pull the skin layer. It considers structural support points of the face to secure sagging tissue more stably, with the goal of improving fixation and longevity.
Wonder Lift is suitable for natural lifting and facial line refinement, while PCL Lift is designed with stronger fixation and longevity in mind. Mint Lift uses a barbed structure to hold sagging tissue and help create the lifting direction.
Lifting lasers use energy to improve skin elasticity and sagging, while thread lifting uses medical threads to physically lift and secure sagging tissue. When sagging is more significant or the jawline, bulldog folds, or mouth-area sagging are more noticeable, thread lifting may be more suitable.
When sagging and volume loss are both present, thread lifting may be considered together with filler or volume regeneration treatments. However, the order and combination can vary depending on facial condition, so consultation is recommended.
Swelling, bruising, tightness, soreness, and a foreign-body sensation may vary by individual. Recovery differs depending on the treatment area, thread type, and skin condition, so we recommend allowing enough time before important events.

Aftercare Instructions

  • Do not press firmly or massage the treated area.
  • For a certain period after the procedure, avoid opening your mouth widely, eating hard foods, and making excessive facial expressions.
  • Avoid alcohol, sauna, and strenuous exercise on the day of the procedure.
  • Swelling, bruising, tightness, and soreness may vary by individual.
  • Be careful not to press on the treated area while sleeping.
  • While the threads are settling, avoid facial massage, strong skin treatments, and radiofrequency treatments.
  • Contact the clinic if you experience pain, severe swelling, skin color changes, or symptoms that may suggest inflammation.

A lift that simply pulls
does not last.

MITAM designs lifting by looking at the facial structure and determining where fixation will look natural and last longer. Through course-based combinations, we consider sagging, volume, and contours together.
